The company, managed by Robert Dunlop, buys unwanted good quality clothing, shoes, belts, bed-linen, curtains and hand-bags from the public, and sells it on to retail businesses in Eastern Europe.
Customers can bring their items to the shop. Alternatively, you can book a free home collection by calling their lo-call-rate number on 0845 520 1551 or e-mail bookacollection@yahoo.co.uk A Used Clothing Co team member will call to your home at a prearranged time to collect your items. All bags collected are weighed and you will be paid 50 pence for every kilogram of product. In the current economic climate the service provides customers with the opportunity to earn extra cash.
Used Clothing Co also helps schools, community groups and organisations who want to fund raise for projects or charity initiatives.
